Greg O’Neill presents, "Pining for home: seed source selection for future forests" Abstract The intention of this presentation is to deconstruct the 100-year-old paradigm of reforesting with local seed sources and discuss the construction of a 21st century seedlot selection system. Abundant evidence already links large-scale forest disturbance with 20th and 21st century climate change. As the r...

Alternate harvesting & silviculture approaches for promoting caribou habitat | ARCKP Webinar #2
Переглядів 1442 роки тому
Abstract: In a recent review conducted for the ARCKP, FORCORP identified alternative silvicultural systems applicable to Alberta’s forests using literature review and subject-matter expert interviews. These systems were carefully reviewed for their potential to alter post-harvest vegetation dynamics in ways that may be beneficial to woodland caribou, relative to existing clearcutting systems. A...

Oh jeez I truly hope that people read the description below the vid for the whole drop-off procedure. I fell asleep drunk watching music vids last night and I just woke up and 6am. I'm kinda groggy and hungover but seems like people are encouraging me to collect bear poop and just dump it an old wooden filing cabinet and forget about it. Seems like I'm only one toke on the devil's lettuce away from creeping up on sleeping bears and giving them enemas.

There must be a million trail cams in North America. If there were bigfoot, dont you think it would have gotten its pic took by now? I do. !

    • @MrYfrank14

When you watch trail cam videos you notice that coyotes detect them. Notsure if they hear them running or smell them or see the IR light, but they know the cameras are there. Bears like to sniff and chew the cameras. So, if sone animals can detect them, why cant bugfoot detect the cameras and avoid them?

@@MrYfrank14 because there is no bigfoot. Millions and millions of trail cams in the woods and not one crisp clear picture of the fake bigfoot. OK open a season on bigfoot with a 1 million dollar bounty. I bet the million never gets collected. But the government knows if they open season on bigfoot, they going to have a bunch of dead people in monkey suits. And all bigfoot sightings will stop.
